The incident took place in a small town in the US state of Washington, where a couple was busy renovating their new home when they came across 60-foot-long paintings on one of the walls.
Nick and Lisa Tim told CNN they bought a home in Okinawa, Washington, late last year. One day he and his team were repairing a 115-year-old theater in the house.
“We thought, ‘Why don’t we just look at the plaster before we start working on the walls?’
When Nick and his team removed the plaster, there was a 60-foot-long landscape on the inside wall. A member of the team said that there would be a similar picture on the wall opposite the picture. When the second wall was torn down, the member’s suspicion was confirmed.
The couple said they would revive the picture and use the space for social events.
